Knowledge base : Advanced Tasks > How do I use Wake-on-Lan to awake another device on my network?

Wake-on-LAN (WoL) is a networking standard that allows a computer to be turned on or awakened by a network message. Some devices can also be woken over WiFi.

To use WoL in AnyMote, when importing a command into a remote, macro, task, etc., simply select "Wake on LAN" on the Import Command screen, and select the device you want to turn on from the list that shows. If your device does not show up, you can enter its MAC address manually at the top of the screen.
